Radiation Detox- SEAWEED
Preventive measures are very important especially today as there’s no saying how far radioactive fallout can travel and reach us. It’s indeed better to be prepared and understand the different ways in which we can prevent radiation from reaching us. Also, learning how we can remove the radiation is equally important. In Nature one can find the Cure for most of what ails you. Seaweed is a most important food source to keep radiation toxicity and uranium poison out of the body. They BIND radioactive particles and escort them out of the body. It’s called BioAbsorption, a process by which seaweed will bind itself to radioactive substances through its alginates.
Radiation can be removed from your body through many natural methods and naturally occurring elements. Learning about these could mean the difference between good health and the possibility of facing diseases such as cancer.
There are over 9,000 species of seaweed, find one you like and make it a regular part of your daily diet, sooner, rather than later, if you live on the Pacific Rim of the planet. Seaweed has such a large proportion of iodine compared to dietary minimum requirements, that it is primarily known as a source of this nutrient. Do not cook the seaweed for best results. Best is "whole seaweed": untreated raw dried seaweed, in pieces or powder, not reconstructed flakes or granules.
The following is my personal favorite list of easily acquired seaweeds, available in today’s marketplace:
1. Spirulina- a food source for the Aztecs and Africans in Chad, dates back as far as the 9th century , cultivated from lakes. Depending upon its source, it can be a complete protein containing all essential amino acids, though with reduced amounts of methionine, cysteine and lysine when compared to the proteins of meat, eggs and milk.It is, however, superior to typical plant protein, such as that from legumes.
3.Irish Moss- a red seaweed grown in the north Atlantic, used to make a popular drink in the Caribbean. The consumption of Irish moss helps to boost the functions of the immune system and can hasten recovery from a wide range of illnesses. Because the seaweed is rich in minerals and vitamins it becomes a source of nourishment for the skin. Regular consumption of Irish moss will turn dry patched up skin into healthy and glowing skin. Another health benefit to be derived from Irish moss is its laxative properties. Irish moss helps to lubricate the intestines promoting a healthy digestive system. Furthermore it is known to be effective against bladder and kidney problems along with peptic and duodenal ulcers. Irish moss also prevents coagulation of blood in the veins.
4. Korean Roasted Seaweed Laver- roasted seaweed sheets are very tasty, a bit like munching on potato chips, except this is a superfood, power packed with nutrition, minerals and amino acids. Roasted seaweed sheets are most commonly used to wrap the sushi rolls.
These statements were accumulated from different websites that discuss the benefits of Seaweed on the body. For more information please see the following sites:
